About ME

I’M A DESIGNER BECAUSE I am curious, analytical, and enjoy solving problems alongside people who have different perspectives and backgrounds.

BEFORE I WAS A DESIGNER, I taught college sociology and film and researched the cultural impact of digital media technologies.

THE COOLEST THING IN THE WORLD are libraries. I went back to school to become a digital librarian and wound up learning how to design them instead.

THE MOTTO THAT GUIDES ME as a designer:

You can only learn when you accept not knowing. You learn by examining what doesn’t work.

MY DAILY GOAL is to be able to say I’m a better designer than I was the day before.
